About Me
I write fantasy the way I wish someone had written it for me when I was younger. Worlds with weight and rules and weather, characters who carry their histories on their faces, magic that costs something. The kind of stories you keep returning to because you want to step back inside and live there for a while.
I am currently building an elf-court epic called Solar Eclipse, which exists in two forms at once: a novel I am writing chapter by chapter, and a modern manga drawn from the same world. Same characters, same politics, same slow-burn dread, but two different doors into the same house.
My north stars are Tolkien’s deep-rooted worldbuilding and Tomi Adeyemi’s ferocious heart. Somewhere between those two is where I am trying to live.
The manga sits closer to Elfen Lied than to anything cosy. I am interested in elegance with bite. Beautiful people making ugly choices. Courts that smile at each other and rot from the inside. The kind of fantasy that does not let you off easily.
I am a UK-based creative writer and illustrator currently studying for a degree in Creative Writing. My Final Major Project combines traditional prose with sequential art, exploring how the same world can breathe differently across two media.
What I’m currently writing
From the world of Solar Eclipse.
A continent split into elven sectors, each ruled by a court that owes its character to the land itself. Solar. Lunar. Nature. The peace between them is mostly paperwork.

Characters

Fenry’s Fittonia
Duchess by marriage, oracle by blood

Arkaline Aurelius
Wears peacock feathers and means it

Bonnie Bourbon
A crown of thorns, a bedroom of vines
Solar Eclipse Event
Join me for an evening that brings Solar Eclipse off the page and into the room. The first half is a live reading of the opening chapter, performed with an original ambient soundscape composed for the Lunar sector. The second half opens the gallery floor, where you can walk through printed panels from the manga draft, original character design sheets, and concept art spanning the three elven courts.
There will be a short Q&A on worldbuilding and the process of adapting a novel into manga, followed by drinks and an opportunity to talk one-to-one.
Limited to 60 guests to keep things intimate.
Location: South London Gallery, 65 Peckham Rd, London SE5 8UH
